What is CrazyEgg?
CrazyEgg is a service for website owners who want deeper, visual analytics about their users. After installing a quick script to your website, CrazyEgg will start tracking all of your users click, down to the location of their click on your website. With this you can see where your users are clicking the most and how you can optimize the sections you wish to focus on much more. They also have a heatmap overlay that shows you a heatmap overlaying your website and hot spots of your user’s clicks.
What you may not know about CrazyEgg
CrazyEgg has this feature called Confetti, which shows these little confetti like dots all over your website. Each dot is a click from one of your users. Click on the dot to learn more details about that user, such has how long it took them, before they clicked, where they clicked. This is a great way to learn how long it takes for some to take a call to action, after reading something.
