What is FanSnap?

FanSnap is a service to find event, concert, and sporting tickets.  FanSnap actually aggregates ticket data from across a network of ticket selling sites and makes the ticket purchase experience much better.  Using FanSnap you can easily select your event and it will show you the venue that is interactive.  From here you can actually zoom in and pan around the venue to see what tickets are still available.  Next you click on an available set of tickets, and make the purchase.  Now you’ll know exactly where you’re sitting when you get there!

What you may not know about FanSnap

FanSnap allows the users to upload photos taken at those different seats.  This will give you an actual view from those seats at that venue.  Can this get an easier?

What is Swoopo?

Swoopo is an online auction site which offers discounted prices to auction winners by charging a fee for each bid placed.Customers buy bids in advance that cost $0.75 each and are sold in packs of 30, 50, 100, 300 or 700. Bidders have the choice of placing single bids or using an electronic bid assistant called the “BidButler”. Auctions start at $0.15 with no reserve. Every bid placed increases the price of the item by $0.15 and the countdown by up to 20 seconds. When the countdown reaches zero, the person who placed the last bid wins the item and purchases it at the final price. Other bidders’ fees contribute to funding the winner’s savings; all bidders must pay for each bid, even if they do not win.

What you may not know about Swoopo

Since each bid cost $0.75, these bids contribute to the purchase of the item.  In the end, the winner of the auction gets it for the price the auction ends plus the number of bids (times $0.75).  The math can get a bid confusing when calculating how much it really cost you on auction items, but if done correctly you can save some big money on popular items.

What is Mint?

What you may not know about Mint

You can create customized budgets for different categories such as entertainment, groceries, gas and more. Then you can set mobile alerts to be sent to your cell phone when you’re approaching your budget limit.  Say for instance you create a category for your bar tabs.  You go to the bar, spend money, and don’t really keep track of how much money you’re spending on drinks.  Well now with Mint you can set yourself a limit and you’ll get a text message on your phone when you’re spending too much.  This is a great way to manage your spending regardless of where you’re at.

What is Moo?

Moos is a printing service to create cool trendy business cards, postcards, greeting cards, stickers and more.  Moo cards allow you to create completely unique cards, where every single business card is different.  Moo allows you to link into your Flickr images or Facebook images and publish a separate image on the back of every single business card.

What you may not know about Moo

What is Threadless?

Threadless is a community-centered online apparel store since 2000. Members of the Threadless community submit t-shirt designs online; the designs are then put to a public vote. What you may not know about Threadless

If you didn’t know already, Threadless shirts and designs are submitted by the community.  Anyone can vote on a submitted designer, as long as your a Threadless member, which is free.  Threadless also prints designs to posters and hoodies as well.

What is Amazon Associates?

Amazon.com is the largest online retailer selling millions of products from books to cds to dvds to digital cameras to clothes.  Amazon Associates is Amazon.com affiliate system that allows you to feature Amazon products on your websites and make commission off of sales completed through your website.  The system is really easy to use and simple to setup.  An affiliate system is a method of recommending a product to someone else via a website or blog, and if someone purchases something by click on it from your site, the system tracks you as the recommender (affiliate) and gives you commission on the purchases made. What you may not know about Amazon Associates

Amazon Associates has this tool to create your own online store of items to sell.  This tool is called Amazon aStores.  With aStores, you get to select the products, you get to select the design, and then it has its own URL (web site link) that you can share with your family and friends.  What I am going to suggest you do is use Amazon.com aStores to create a Christmas wish list of all the items that you want, and share it with your family and friends so they know what you want for Christmas.  Not only are you making it easier for them to find what you want, they even have a simple shopping cart to make multiple purchase through your aStore.  With all of the purchases made, you make commission (Amazon Associates starts you at 4%, increases with more sales).  In return, take that commission you made from your friends and family and spend a little bit more on them.  After all this is Christmas time,  if money is short, here’s an alternative.

FatWallet is a bargain hunting website, centering around a set of forums that allow users to publish deals and rebate offers on a comprehensive range of products and services, though computer-related products dominate the listings. Fatwallet

The site focuses on listings primarily for North American consumers; the website does not offer its service to a generic international and multi-currency audience. What you may not know about FatWallet

FatWallet has an excellent forum in which it’s 1000’s of users upload hot deals on products on the internet and retail stores.  It’s amazing to see how you can get great deals by using coupon codes, mail in rebates, or buying a combination of items for discount.  Sometime Froogle can only take it so far, let FatWallets Hot Deal forums take it one step further and give the power to the community.

What is Woot?

Woot’s tagline is “One Day, One Deal”. Generally, Woot offers one product per day until its stock of that item is sold out or the product is replaced at midnight Central Time with the next offering. If a product sells out during its run, the next item still does not appear until midnight, except during Woot-Offs. Woot.com has other sites which sell one product at time.  Shirt.Woot and Wine.Woot are 2 other sites by Woot.  Shirt.woot.com features 1 shirt a day (typically designed by the Woot community, known as “Derbys”).  Shirt.woot shirts at $10 with free shipping.  Wine.woot.com features 1 wine or a set of wines once  a week, instead of Woot’s signature, once a day.  You must be 21 to make a Wine.Woot purchase and it is not available in all states.  Finally Woot also has a partnership with Yahoo!
