What is Brusheezy?

Brusheezy is a gallery of community submitted free Photoshop brushes.  As any Photoshop designer would know, the use of Photoshop brushes is key to many graphic designs.  Use and manipulate your images with unique Photoshop brushes and you’re quickly on your way to designing professional looking graphics.

What you may not know about Brusheezy

Brusheezy has a couple sister sites, Vectoreezy and Flasheezy that have vector graphics and flashy files also available for free download.  Just a couple more elements to add to your graphic design arsenal.

What is Wordsplosion?

Wordsplosion is an image blog showcasing misspellings and bad grammar on signs, cards, flyers and anywhere you can find words in everyday world.  Each post is a different image of something with bad grammar or a misspelled word.  Some images are quite humorous and it just goes to show you that there are a lot of people out there that shouldn’t have passed 4th grade English

What you may not know about Wordsplosion

At the bottom of each image is a quick link that you can click which points out the bad grammar and/or misspellings.  So if you can find it yourself, click this link and it will tell you what’s wrong.

What is Moo?

Moos is a printing service to create cool trendy business cards, postcards, greeting cards, stickers and more.  Moo cards allow you to create completely unique cards, where every single business card is different.  Moo allows you to link into your Flickr images or Facebook images and publish a separate image on the back of every single business card.

What you may not know about Moo

Moo has type of print called Minicards.  They also have a special type of Minicard you can create called Text Minicards.  Using Moo’s Text Minicard editor you can create custom cards with your own words, a variety of fonts, and they generate a rainbow of colors for your design.  Again, you’ll have 100 Moo cards complete unique of each other.  How cool is that?

What is Instructables?

Instructables is simply a collection of instructions on how to do nearly anything.  These instructions are taught through images and videos.  Each instructable is submitted by different users and are available in a wide variety of categories from food to technology.  With easy to follow step-by-step instructions, you can do just about anything.

What you may not know about Instructables

Each Instructable has it’s unique signature, which includes Step-by-Step instructions, visually labeled and listed, Step 1, Step 2, Step 3, etc.  So now you can follow along each step to make sure you’re doing it in the right order and it could be any easier to learn something new.

What is TinEye?

TinEye is a image search engine that allows you to search with an image.  Give the URL or upload an image, and it will search across the internet to see where else that image, or a similar image is being used. This is a great way to find out if someone is using your copywright images!

What you may not know about TinEye

TinEye also has a plugin for Internet Explorer and Firefox that allows you to simply “right-click” an image on any website and search TinEye to see where else that image is located.  Can’t get any simpler than that!

What is YTMND?

YTMND, an initialism for “You’re The Man Now, Dog”, is an online community centered on the creation of hosted web pages (known within the community as YTMNDs or sites) featuring an absurd juxtaposition of a single image or a simple slideshow, which may be animated and/or tiled along with optional large zooming text and a looping sound file. Images used in YTMNDs are usually either created or edited by users. Most YTMNDs are meant to expose or reflect the more inane facets of pop culture, and some can be considered inside jokes. What you may not know about YTMND

You can find popular YTMND’s in their site section.  They have a wide variety of “top” lists that will help you find some of the funniest and most interesting YTMND’s out there.  Each YTMND is typically short and sweet and full of repetition.  They’re typically animated GIFs with an audio overlay, sometimes sync’d together.

What is Wordle?

Wordle is a toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. The images you create with Wordle are yours to use however you like. You can print them out, or save them to the Wordle gallery to share with your friends.

What you may not know about Wordle

You can provide your website URL, in which it will determine the keywords of your website and create a word cloud.  By clicking on the Randomize button you can change the look and feel of your Wordle, with the same website.
