What is Instructables?

Instructables is simply a collection of instructions on how to do nearly anything.  These instructions are taught through images and videos.  Each instructable is submitted by different users and are available in a wide variety of categories from food to technology.  With easy to follow step-by-step instructions, you can do just about anything.

What you may not know about Instructables

Each Instructable has it’s unique signature, which includes Step-by-Step instructions, visually labeled and listed, Step 1, Step 2, Step 3, etc.  So now you can follow along each step to make sure you’re doing it in the right order and it could be any easier to learn something new.

What is WonderHowTo?

WonderHowTo.com is a community-fueled, search engine and directory for Free How-To Video. With an index of more than 225,000 videos (October 2008), we provide the largest, most contemporary, and most diverse resource in this increasingly vibrant space.

What you may not know about WonderHowTo

WonderHowTo.com has a Firefox plugin that seemlessly finds “how to” videos related to other search on the internet.  Say you’re on Google, searching for new ceramic tiles, the WonderHowTo plugin will show you videos on how to install tiles.  Virtually for anything you’re searching for, the WonderHowTo Firefox plugin will show you a “how to” video so that you can complete your task.

What is Hulu?

Hulu is a website that offers free, ad-supported streaming video of TV shows and movies from NBC, FOX and many other networks and studios. Hulu videos are currently offered only to users in the United States.  Hulu provides video in Flash Video format in a higher resolution and bit-rate than YouTube, including many films and shows that are available in 480p. Also, some TV shows and movies are now offered in high-definition.  (read more at Wikipedia)

What you may not know about Hulu

With Hulu you can subscribe to your favorite TV Shows and get notified when the new episodes become available. Stop waiting until 9pm on Thursday night to watch your favorite TV show.  Watch it when you want, wherever your are.

What is Digital Cookbook?

Digital Cookbook is a recipe website that has videos showing how to make the recipe, not just listing the incredients and directions.  They have a wide variety of recipes in different categories.  All of the recipes are featured on Comcast’s On Demand system as well.

What you may not know about Digital Cookbook

With Digital Cookbook you can create a recipe box, saving all of your favorite recipes, so in the future when you want to remember how to make calamari, don’t just look up the recipe and ingredients, watch how it is made.
